Lace up your shoes for the Annual Georgia's Chicken Fun Run/Walk at the Deanna Rose Children's Farmstead!
Participants of all ages are welcome to register and enjoy an epic morning of fun!
Each registered runner receives a medal to show off the achievement. Be sure to visit our sponsor booths for more fun and goodies at the event! Chicken trophies will be awarded to the top three runners in each category. Girls and boys will race separately in each division except the babies and adults.
- Baby walk (Ages 2 & under) - no registration needed (t-shirt not included). This age group is all for fun.
- 1/8 Mile Course - Groups of Age 3 and Age 4
- 1/4 Mile Course - Groups of Age 5, Age 6, Ages 7-8, Ages 9-11, Ages 12+
Morning Schedule
- 7:00 am - Check-in begins in front of the main entry building of Deanna Rose Children's Farmstead
- 7:30 am - Announcements & National Anthem
- 7:40 am - Warm Up Stretches with Overland Park Regional Medical Center
- 7:45 am - Chicken Dance
- 7:50 am - Raffle Drawing for Garmin Watch Winner
- 7:53 am - Chicken, Ruby, and Cow Race
- 8:00 am - First Race Begins
- 9:15 am - Awards Ceremony
