Flavors in Bloom
Delight in an evening of delicious food and drink tastings set within the beautiful surroundings of the Overland Park Arboretum & Botanical Gardens. Guests will enjoy a variety of savory bites, sweet treats, and handcrafted beverages in a relaxed garden setting designed for savoring every flavor and enjoying the scenery.
While the tasting experience is centered in a picturesque garden gathering space, guests are also welcome to take a leisurely stroll and explore the Arboretum’s scenic pathways and blooming landscapes throughout the evening.

Each event showcases a rotating lineup of local favorites, serving up creative tastings and unexpected flavor pairings to explore. Our full calendar features classic wine pairing experiences for guests 21+, along with select all-ages dates newly added this year, highlighting global cuisines, non-alcoholic and mocktail offerings, and interactive fun like bingo and trivia. There's something for everyone to enjoy!
August 27 • Spice & Sips Bingo Night (All-Ages) Chai Cafe menu (Samosas, appetizers, and chai tea) paired with Roasterie cold brews, and bingo games for prizes!
September 3 • Wine Pairing (21+) NightHawk Vineyard & Winery and Terrace Catering, live guitar by Alan Voss
September 24 • Wings + Things Trivia Night (All-Ages) Variety boneless wings, frozen frosty NA bevs, and trivia games for prizes!
Helping the Arboretum Grow
This special event series is a fundraiser for Friends of the Arboretum, supporting vital initiatives that preserve, enhance, and grow the gardens we all love. Every ticket purchased helps fund educational programs, conservation efforts, and future improvements, ensuring the Arboretum remains a vibrant space for generations to come.
Details
Advance reservations required. $40-$45 for Wine Pairings and $15-$20 for Game Nights. Ticket purchase includes admission to the Arboretum and food + beverage tastings. Must be 21+ to attend Wine Pairing experiences.
