Deanna Rose Children’s Farmstead is super fun every day of the season, but check out these events to make your visit extra special.

 

Safety Day

Saturday, June 3 | 9am - 1pm

FREE event! Join us at the Farmstead for a day all about safety. Hop aboard a fire truck and slide into a police cruiser or check out an ambulance. Safety Day provides families the opportunity to interact with members of emergency services, hospitals, and safety organizations.
June Bug Ball

Tuesday, June 20 | 1pm - 4:30pm

FREE event! (Purchase of admission to the Farmstead is required until 2pm) Join us to celebrate National Pollinators Week as we learn about bugs and other garden friends. Connect with nature and discover the various habitats around us. Dress as your favorite bug, enjoy crafts, bug petting zoo, and a variety of activities and live entertainment.

Tuesday July 4, 2023 | 9am - Noon

FREE event! (regular admission fee applies). Families enjoy old-fashioned games, activities and participate in a bike parade.

Movie Night

Saturday, August 26, 2023 | 5pm - 10pm

Grab a blanket and enjoy an outdoor showing of Moana on the big screen as you sit on the Farmstead lawn. Activities will be held prior to the movie, which will begin at dusk (approx. 8:30 p.m.).

Saturday, September 16, 2023 | 5pm - 10pm

FREE event! Bring your chairs and blankets and enjoy a family-friendly outdoor showing of A Bug's Life on the lawn at the Farmstead! It's MOO-vie Night, as we celebrate all things dairy.

Open 7 days a week during the season, except holidays of Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, and Labor Day.

Opens late on Easter at noon
Closes at 2pm on July 4th
