Korean War Memorial

Thank you for your interest in making a donation to the Friends of Overland Park Arts for the benefit of Overland Park’s Korean War Veterans Memorial at Tomahawk Ridge Community Center. The memorial commemorates the service and sacrifice of those who served in the armed forces from 1950 to 1955 during the Korean War. Created with the Korean War Veterans Association Chapter #181, Overland Park is honored to be the caretaker of the memorial.

At the memorial, experience:

  • 30 granite panels engraved with Korean War information and events
  • Plaques for each of the five military service branches
  • A Purple Heart panel and dedication panel

Eight of the 30 panels carry the names of 415 Kansas soldiers who were lost in the war.

You may make a contribution to the memorial online and/or purchase a personalized memorial stone paver along the path. Visit our donation form to see sizing and pricing options.
