Be a part of the future of the Arboretum
One of the most distinctive features of the area surrounding LongHouse, the new visitor center at Overland Park Arboretum & Botanical Gardens, is the elevated Hilltop Terrace encircled by the Inspiration Wall adorned with recognition of those who are helping the Arboretum grow. The Arts & Recreation Foundation of Overland Park offers you the opportunity to be part of its efforts to enable the Arboretum to "grow to inspire" and permanently honor your family or organization with an inscribed "leaf" on the wall.
The Sculpture
130 artfully designed leaves* "grow" along the meandering vine. Truly a work of art, this sculpture is a prominent and beautiful feature of the area. Supply is limited.
Leaves in the sizes noted are available for donations of:
$1,500 - 8" leaf (name plate - 4"x3")
$2,500 - 10" leaf (name plate - 4.5"x3.25")
$3,500 - 12" leaf (name plate - 5"x3.5")
$5,000 - 14" leaf (name plate - 5.5"x3.75")
$10,000 - 16" leaf (name plate - 6"x4")
$15,000 - 18" leaf (name plate - 6.5"x4.25")
There are no restrictions on the number of characters; but note that the more characters and lines, the smaller the font will be.
