Friends of the Arboretum June Newsletter

Dear Friends,

Each month—particularly as we move from Spring to Summer—there is no lack of news for me to share about our deep roster of summertime events; and what an awesome event list it is! Even with the breadth of ‘ticketed’ events that allow you to celebrate the Gardens, I invite you to come out and walk the gardens and make it part of your day. Come out for an hour or an afternoon; pack a lunch or an afternoon snack and make a table on a rock ledge, bench or settle down on a piece of lawn. Bring your children, bring your parents, or sneak away for some ‘you’ time and discover everything that the gardens has to reveal.

In a few short weeks, the Arboretum plays host on June 24th to our next event, Stems: A Garden Soirée. If you are unable to join as a guest (there are only a few tickets left) we would love to have you be an event volunteer. Please look at our available needs to see if there is an activity that you would be interested in helping out with—you can even bring a friend or sign up as a group! In advance, a heartfelt thank you goes out to each of you for your generosity! If you are a past volunteer, sign up through our volunteer portal or contact us by email for more information on available opportunities.
