Nature Encounter For All

An accessible education and nature experience is coming to the Overland Park Arboretum & Botanical Gardens.

It will be nature unbound!

It will offer all the freedom to explore!

Nature belongs to all of us and should be enjoyed by all.

A Nature Encounter for All will provide an accessible, inclusive experience, allowing individuals at all levels of ability to immerse themselves in nature.

  • ADA-compliant pathways
  • Lookouts and interactive stations
  • Orientation maps
  • “Touchable” features intentionally designed to optimize the sensory experience for those who may have sight, hearing or other impairments
