Friends of the Arboretum April Newsletter

Dear Friends,

National Volunteer Appreciation week is April 16 – 23! Each day, countless volunteers make their way to the gardens to give their time and talent. In 2022, close to 800 of you gave us over 20,000 hours of your time; you planted, trimmed, weeded, mulched, worked events, greeted guests, led tours, and so much more. You came from all walks of life; retired, students, company groups…quite simply a variety of skills and personalities looking for an opportunity to give back and leave your mark on the gardens. To each of you, a heartfelt thank you for giving your time and talent in service to the gardens.

In honor of National Volunteer Appreciation week, I celebrate you!

Membership has its Privileges

Last month, I shared with you about upcoming changes to our FOTA member program which will include fewer tiers, changes to some of the member-only benefits and increased rates for some of the membership tiers. To avoid the increased rates for your renewal, don’t forget to renew prior to May 1.
