Know Before You Go

What should I wear or bring?

Prepare for a walk through the gardens and a day spent in the woods and trails. Wear your sunscreen, bug spray, and comfortable walking shoes are a must. Costumes and fun accessories are strongly encouraged! We will have plenty of hair adornments, temporary tattoos, and goodies available to add to your outfits as you go!

What kind of activities and entertainment are included in my ticket price?

All activities except for the optional Food Trucks and the Gift Shop are included in your price of admission!

Is the event accessible?

Paths are paved within the gardens up until the entry to the Enchanted Faire event where the trails become mulch and some uneven terrain. Please review the Event Map for detailed trail lengths and info to best plan your visit. This event is not wheelchair accessible. User discretion is advised. Service animals are always welcome in the gardens.

Which entrance should I use?

We recommend entering at LongHouse Visitor Center for the most direct path out to the Enchanted Faire. However, access will still be available via the East Kiosk / Environmental Education Center. Ticket scanners will be stationed at both entrances to admit you into the gardens.

Will food and drink be available?

A busy day at the Faire is sure to work up your appetite! Food trucks will be onsite to satisfy your cravings with breakfast, snacks, lunch, and sweet treats available for additional purchase. The Kona Ice Truck will be serving up their iconic shaved ice in a rainbow of flavors, while K&C Concessions and CJ Concessions will offer mouthwatering summer fair favorites like turkey legs, hotdogs, burgers, tacos, and refreshing lemonade.

Café Celeste at LongHouse VisitWe or Center will also be open and operating with their full menu of freshly brewed coffee, delicious salads and sandwiches and a selection of baked goods.

Can I purchase tickets onsite at the Arboretum?

Signs will be stationed at the entrances with scannable QR codes to purchase tickets onsite with your mobile phones, but we highly recommend booking your tickets online here in advance. Session attendance is limited and may be sold out by the time you arrive!

The forecast looks rainy for my session. What's the event status?

The Enchanted Faire will go on rain or shine! Pack your rain gear and join us for a magical day at the Arboretum! The event will only be delayed or canceled if severe conditions develop or lightning strikes nearby. Staff will communicate to any guests onsite and direct you to wait in your vehicles in the parking lot until the event can safely resume.

The most up to date Weather Status Updates can be found in the header of our main Enchanted Fair webpage. If the weather looks uncertain, we recommend checking this site often for information about delays or cancellations before you head out to the Arboretum!

Can I buy more costumes, goodies, and toys at the event?

Why yes! And you must visit our Enchanted Gift Shop, where additional costume pieces like fairy wings, pirate hooks, swords, and toys will be available for purchase to add more flair to your enchanted getups for the day! New this year, we have crafted beautiful yard art items, notebooks, and more goodies to choose from.

How do I switch my tickets to a different day?

Tickets are non-refundable even due to weather delays and cancellations, but they are exchangeable - based on availability. After completing your purchase, you will receive an email confirmation. Click the link on your “e-ticket” email and show the barcode tickets upon entry during check-in.

Here’s what you need to know before purchasing:

  • Create an account before completing the sale. There will be a prompt to do so.
  • If you wish to exchange after purchasing, log into our ticketing partner’s website – https://www.showclix.com/my-tickets/login.
  • Follow the instructions to “swap” your tickets for another date and time of entry.

Tickets will not be replaced if lost, stolen, or unused.
