Friends of the Arboretum August Newsletter

Dear Friends,

This time of year is a busy one at our Arboretum. We seem to have so many wonderful events that take place later in the year after the summer blooms begin to give way to the fall colors. This year is no different.

On August 1, you received an email to let you know that tickets are now on sale for Terra Luna. Beginning September 12—for 8 nights only—the gardens play host to a spectacular evening of light and music presented by Quixotic, sure to be enjoyed by the entire family. This event continues to grow each year. Make sure you purchase your tickets early as most nights fill up fast.

There’s still two more Arboretum Movie Nights on the schedule. Come enjoy an evening at the Arboretum with food, drinks and games followed by a great Family-friendly movie – All for just the admission to the gardens – which means members can enjoy the evening and movie for FREE.

Tickets are also on sale for Botanical Brewfest, which will be held on Saturday, October 19. We don’t think anything is more spectacular than fall in the gardens with the cooler temps and vibrant colors. And certainly, the opportunity to sample beers from across the region, sway to live music, and enjoy the good times with friends will not disappoint!

A fast follow to Terra Luna, we will begin to share news on our ever-popular Luminary Walk, Candlelight Stroll and Electric Glow events. Watch your email in the early part of October for information on purchasing tickets as well as exciting news that will increase your options to come out to the gardens for the holiday spectacular!

In addition to these events, the Arboretum also has a lot more of activities planned throughout the late summer and fall. A full schedule of all classes can be found online here.
