Reflections on Claude Monet: Painter and Gardener

Description:

The beautiful Monet Garden at the Overland Park Arboretum & Botanical Garden represents the themes and theories which Claude Monet developed in his famous garden in Giverny, France. This 2-hour informative talk will explain and elaborate on the symbiotic relationship between Monet’s garden and his paintings. Presenters include representatives from the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, the K-State Extension Master Gardeners, and the Arboretum horticulture staff.

There is no additional charge for the talk, but there is limited seating. Registration is required. Included with admission to the gardens.
