Native Trees of Kansas
March 27, 2019
1 p.m.-2 p.m.
Description:
Our greatest resource at the Overland Park Arboretum is the naturally planted woodlands. This 160-acre area is home to forty-seven (47) of the eighty-five (85) species of trees native to the state of Kansas. Jim Earnest will give a one hour PowerPoint presentation “Native Trees of Kansas.” He will show and discuss many of these magnificent trees, how they flower, how they reproduce, what they do for humans and why are they there? Plan to join us in the EEVC for this presentation. Limited to the first 50 registrants – REGISTER NOW
