Arboretum Show Home
The 2012 Overland Park Arboretum & Botanical Garden Show Home is a 5,200 sq ft luxury home currently being built by award winning builder Jeff Ashner. The custom built home is located on 2+ heavily wooded acres overlooking a splashing fountain on the adjacent pond in the upscale Overland Park gated neighborhood of Rockwood Falls Estates. The foundation for the $1.7 million French Provincial inspired home was poured on September 6th.
The home is scheduled to be completed by June 21st and will be the host site of the 5th annual Stems: A Garden Soiree's Sponsor and Patron Party. Partial proceeds from Stems will fund the Arboretum's Train Garden.
The fully furnished home by noted interior designer Janet Alholm will be open to the public for touring beginning on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from noon to 6 p.m. June 29 thru Sunday July 15, 2012. All proceeds for touring the home and donations go 100% toward the benefit of the Overland Park Arboretum & Botanical Gardens. The home will be professionally landscaped and have an inviting lake side pool by Epic Landscape Productions.
