The Friends of the Farmstead is a not-for-profit group operating as part of the Arts and Recreation Foundation of Overland Park, Kansas. The Friend's group was designed to promote and support the Farmstead. Patrons are encouraged to check out this site's join and support page to learn how to become a Friends of the Farmstead member. The group maintains 501(c)(3) status and all contributions are tax deductible to the extent you are allowed by law.

To provide leisure and educational experiences concerning the care of domestic farm animals and basic farm operations by: Operating and maintaining an authentic miniature reproduction of a 1900s Kansas farm of approximately 12 acres.
