Become a member of the Friends of OP Arts...
The Friends of the Arts is a not-for-profit group operating as part of the Arts and Recreation Foundation of Overland Park, Kansas. The Friend's group was designed to promote and support the Arts in Overland Park. A Friends membership includes special promotions such as a 25% discount on all art purchases from the Art at the Center gallery. You'll also receive an advance calendar of art events and discounts to painting classes and craft workshops! Please fill out a Membership Application (download.pdf) and choose your donation level of Individual ($25), Family ($50), or Patron ($100).
Honor or remember a loved one through Art...
Whether in honor of memoriam of an individual or a group, the permanence of the public art master plan program will long remain a tribute. Permanent art installations are a tribute that can last for centuries. Review the Public Art Master Plan (download.pdf) and see what you can do to create a lasting memory, one that can be seen and touched for generations. Each installation is accompanied by a plaque inscribed with the name of those you wish to honor. Additional major donors have the option of assisting in the selection and acquisition process for the art piece. Contact the City Arts Coordinator, Julie K. Is your business looking for a new and exciting way to reach out to the community? Try ART! The Friends of OP Arts seek sponsoring companies to underwrite a number of annual events and programs. Sponsoring companies receive promotional considerations, advertising support and much more.
